We are seeking a highly motivated bioinformatics leader to direct the work in the areas of multi-omics data processing and analysis to drive novel target ID and biomarker discovery.
· Lead and develop bioinformaticians on multi-omics analysis pipeline construction and ML modeling
· Lead the design and development of processes/pipelines that generate novel insights driving the discovery projects
· Innovate and implement creative computational biology and bioinformatics methods/algorithms for analyses of complex datasets
· Lead public data mining to test/validate models
· Represent data science on project teams and contribute to experimental design, data analysis, interpretation and communication of results
· PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
· 4+ years’ work experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical company, with solid understanding of target identification and biomarker discovery in drug discovery and development
· Ability to manage a team of bioinformaticians to ensure timely delivery of results and tools
· Excellent communication skills, fluency in English
· Leadership experience in computational pipelines for analysis of complex omics datasets, including single-cell RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, etc
